Robot Design
Drivetrain: We assembled it based on a 13 x 8 Hole U Channel frame for compactness, and four mecanum wheels for efficient navigation across the field.
Slides: The slides are essential for our robot, as they help us to score in the baskets and hang on the rungs.
Arms: The arms are portrayed as an extension to the slides, helping us to score high.
Intake/Outtake System: Our Intake/Outtake System has gecko wheels to drive in the samples, guiding them onto the ramp, a 3 Hole U Channel. This mechanism allows for a greater margin of error, making our scoring quick and convenient.
Suspension Mechanism: Our robot can hang with the hook feature that is attached with our slides.
